Three months ago, a small kitten was found alone in the parking lot of a construction site. Staff searched for other kittens, but none were found.I contacted the mother cat because she did not come back. murphy’s law animal conservation (MLAR) Please help me.
“Generous angels brought him to us to give him a healthy and safe start,” said Monica foster volunteer Monica. She took her kitten into her own care and named her affectionately Squiggy.
A few days later, to my surprise, another kitten of the same age with the same fluffy coat showed up at the same spot.
“[That morning]we received a call that city officials had found another solitary fur baby in the skid steer front end loader. was there.”
All similarities point to the possibility that the two kittens are related.
There was still no sign of the mother cat. “What are the odds that they are brother and sister?” The rescue team began arranging their “reunion.”
Monica picked up the kitten, and the moment she saw it, she knew she had an advantage. The kitten, which she named Shirley, was wrapped up in a comfy blanket and she felt safe and loved and she was ready to cuddle.
When Shirley was brought in to meet Squiggy, they waddled side by side and began to smell each other from head to tail. Soon they were playing as if they had never been apart.
They crawled and rolled on top of each other, wrestling, and together they fell into a deep sleep.
“Since they got back together, they’ve been playing and cuddling…like two peas in a pod.”
At least five people worked together to make sure these two kittens were never separated again. “They bonded very quickly in just a few hours.”
Shirley continued to hone her walking and wrestling skills while Squiggy tried to figure out how to play with her toys. His younger brother quickly learned to eat from a plate, but his sister insisted that he wanted more time to drink a bottle.
They rolled and rolled like two curled up balls in the nest.
The kittens did everything in pairs and communicated each other’s personalities.
After Squiggy was weaned, Shirley began to work harder so she could eat with her brother. Once Squiggy figured out where the restrooms were, Shirley joined in trying to do the same.
Playtime is high on Shirley’s list of daily activities, but sleep still tops the list alongside her older brother.
“It was such a special feeling to reunite these two. It feels great to give his sister the same second chance that Squiggy was given.”
“Squiggy and Shirley go together like peanut butter and jelly, baseball and apple pie. Their erratic ways will only bring a smile to your face. Little balls of joy.”
When he grew up to be a naughty young cat, he got into all sorts of mischief with other foster kittens. They quickly became social people.
The home of their dreams awaits them when they’re big enough to adopt.
It took a village to save two kittens. Squiggy and Shirley will now spend the rest of their lives together forever.
